Well we’ve hit that long hot end of summer stretch. Finding relief from the heat isn’t easy these days. And finding a tasty treat that isn’t loaded with corn syrup and other bad stuff is even harder.
Here’s a cucumber, kale mint juice recipe that is quickly becoming one of our favorites around here. It will cool you off, refresh you and nourish your body!
- 5 Stalks of Celery
- 4-5 Sprigs of Mint
- 1 Bunch of Kale
- 1 Large Cucumber
- 1/2 Green Apple
- Squeeze of lime
Just add everything to your favorite juicing machine, except the lime (squeeze that in at the end!) Stir or shake this well before drinking. Pour it over ice or just enjoy straight up. This is a cool refreshing healthy way to beat the heat during these dog days of summer.
Hint: For an extra kick add a little vodka…whoopee!

- Half a cucumber
- 1 half of an apple
- An inch of ginger root
- 1 clove of garlic
- A few stalks of mint

This is a great recipe for a morning juice that will get your motor running and off to a good start. Drinking this every morning get your body ready for a great day of detox. This juice is a favorite because it has everything you need for energy, nutrition and brain power. Start using this recipe in lieu of coffee and a danish and watch your waistline shrink!
- 1 bunch of organic kale
- 1 bunch of organic spinach
- 4-5 sprigs of mint leaves (or more if your taste buds prefer it!)
- 5 stalks of celery
- An inch of ginger root (again this is up to you. Too much ginger can make the juice too spicy)
- Half an apple (apple juice is a good sweetener, especially for kids or those who don’t like the taste of greens)
- 1 Cucumber
- Squeeze of half a lemon or lime
