3 Things You Should Do Every Day For A More Harmonius Life

We can’t think of better advice.  Taking care of your body will help your spirit and mind find a healthier existence as well.

Most issues we have are directly related to our mental state.  Our mental state is directly related to our physical state.  When you start living a healthier lifestyle everything seems to fall into place.

If your physical self is happy and taken care of, you will find your spiritual and mental self more in tune with the over all flow.  When you are in tune with the flow life is easier and more enjoyable.

Here are a few things you can do everyday for a healthier mind, body, and spirit:

Learn To Meditate
People think meditation is a difficult thing.  Or they say things like “I can’t do that, my mind won’t sit still long enough.”  Meditation is not the art of shutting your brain off.  It’s the art of taking the time to let your brain go.  In fact, trying to shut your brain down is the opposite of meditation.

Meditation is sitting still and breathing long enough to let your mind find it’s own state of relaxation.  Find a quiet place, close your eyes and take deep breaths.  When your mind starts to wander, allow it to. But stay focused on your deep breathing.  Eventually your mind will let go of scattered thoughts and return.

This process of allowing your brain to settle on its own terms will benefit every aspect of your life.  You’ll find you have more patience and a greater understanding of the way the universe operates.

Exercise is a form of meditation as well.  To exhaust your physical self and find stillness in your breathing.  You don’t have to over do it!  A simple brisk morning or evening walk is enough to help your body and calm your mind.  People tend to think that unless they are sweating buckets and “feeling the burn” they are getting no benefit from the exercise.  This is not true.  Just move quickly enough to elevate your breathing an heart rate and do something physical everyday.

Put Good Food Into Your Body

We all love junk food.  We all love desert.  You don’t have to give these things up.  Eight ounces of raw juice a day will work wonders.

Start your day with raw juice.   If you eat well everyday, you’ll find your body will stop craving fatty and sugary foods.  It’s a gradual process but completely necessary for a healthy and well adjusted existence.
